Pond Rules for Practice, Training, or Just Having Fun
- Liability Waiver: Prior to utilizing our facility, all participants must sign a liability waiver and provide a copy of their license.
- Controlled Entry: For private sessions, please wait for our assistance with controlling our dogs before entering the property.
- Dog Use Only: Our pond is designated for canine use only; human swimming is strictly prohibited.
- Humane Treatment: Handlers and spectators must treat all animals with kindness and respect; rough handling of any dog will not be tolerated.
- Clean-Up Responsibility: Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
- Immunization Records: For public events, submission of updated immunization records is required. This is not necessary for private visits.
- Grounds Maintenance: All handlers and spectators must leave the grounds in the same condition as they found it, including removing all trash and returning toys to storage.
- Control Requirement: Dogs must remain under the handler's control at all times.
- Restrictions for Dogs in Heat: Dogs in heat are not permitted on the grounds during Puppy Socials.
- Enforcement of Rules: Failure to adhere to these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the premises.
Lure Coursing Rules and Regulations
- No Aggression Towards People: Dogs displaying aggression towards people will not be allowed on the premises.
- Control of Aggressive Dogs: Handlers of aggressive dogs must be capable of controlling them at all times.
- Leash Requirement: All dogs must remain on leash when not running the course.
- Non-Refundable Entry: Once entered, no refunds will be provided even if the dog chooses not to run.
- Signed Waiver: A signed waiver is mandatory before your dog can participate in lure coursing.
- Clean-Up: Clean up after your dog to maintain a clean environment for all.
- Supervision of Children: Keep children under control and refrain from allowing them to pet other dogs without permission.
- Proper Care for Dogs: Ensure your dog is properly cared for, including housing, water, and warm-up/cool-down periods.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional and sportsmanlike demeanor at all times.
